That's how you go, you float directly, because the world is beautiful and fragrant, or on the contrary, everything is wrong and you just suffocate with life, when suddenly there is a soft crunch or a real crunch. Either way, the ankle is swollen quickly and slowly blue, and it is clear to you that you will sit or lie down for a few days, because sprain is not a tragedy, but neglecting it would not be good at all.

The ligaments help maintain the mobility of the joint and at the same time stabilize it. Depending on the severity of the accident, they become excessively stretched or cracked during dislocation. In the worst case, up to break.

In addition to suitable footwear for a given movement, it is of course also possible to strengthen the ligaments in a targeted manner with appropriate exercise and also with a balanced diet. When running, use moments of forced rest to think about the right technique and a suitable surface, these are other things that affect the health of joints and ligaments, and therefore the whole body.

First aid with a dislocated ankle is calm and the foot is raised. Of course, it's ideal when you don't have to worry about anything, because jumping on one leg won't do you much good at the moment. So another pair of kind and caring hands is welcome.

For other assistants, just walk to the pantry. Vinegar, honey, plum brandy. It may seem like a shame, but believe me, it's worth taking a little off your mouth and giving yourself a sore limb. Vinegar and plum brandy reduce swelling, honey helps with the absorption of blood clots. 

Likewise, a cabbage leaf placed on the foot under a fixed compress is an inconspicuous but effective helper. If you don't have it, reach for the raw potatoes.

Suitable herbs are marigold, thyme, plantain, comfrey - you can now prepare them all during the summer in the form of ointments for Uncle Příhoda. Marigold preparations are used externally for routine care, including on children's skin, for massaging scars, in the treatment of varicose veins and shin ulcers. 

You can also use thyme and plantain for colds and coughs, thyme is also excellent for acne, if it is in the right base, which does not burden the skin even more. And you can also use comfrey in non-healing wounds, hemorrhoids, varicose veins or burns. So your work will certainly not be in vain. 

Sometimes the discharge just hurts and we want to be relieved. Ginger, turmeric or, for example, chamomile and lavender are offered as natural analgesics - ie painkillers. There is no need to invent anything complicated with ginger and chamomile, in short, make tea from them. Dried ground turmeric root is a common part of some spice mixtures and is widely used for medicinal purposes by Ayurvedic medicine. I like golden milk. Remember this recipe well, it will still be useful in the autumn. In addition to the anti-inflammatory effects, the ingredients contained in it also strengthen the immune system, facilitate coughing, soothe and have an antioxidant effect. Preparation is simple - to a cup of milk, even vegetable, add a teaspoon of ground turmeric, a pinch of black pepper and cinnamon, a tablespoon of honey and butter. Weld everything briefly and then strain. Drizzle a little essential lavender oil into the aroma lamp and relax in the chair.

Be sure not to try to return the dislocated joint to its original position, and if your condition does not improve after two or three days, see a doctor to be sure.
